1° Can you outline the history and activity of your company in a few words?
Founded in 2004, ATOZ Tax Advisers is today the largest tax advisory firm in Luxembourg outside the Big 4 world. The firm's client focus is largely on Alternative Investments such as Private Equity, Private Debt, Real Estate, Infrastructure, etc.
2° You have recently decided to join L3A - what are the key reasons behind this?
One, we have been invited to join L3A as an associate member. Two, we believe that Luxembourg alternative administrators are a cornerstone of the Luxembourg fund servicing industry that is key in communicating current developments and trends to a large range of international investors and asset managers.
3° What do you believe you can offer to L3A and the alternative administrator provider ecosystem?
The international and European tax landscape has been undergoing a comprehensive transformation which still continues. With new tax measures and EU Directives being launched continuously, it is important to quickly understand the potential impact on Luxembourg investment structures and to develop a reasonable interpretation. Being tax advisers and part of all relevant tax working groups of other associations in Luxembourg and beyond, we believe that we can contribute to such reasonable interpretation which is particularly important for alternative administrators that need to manage the perception of their clients in uncertain times for the benefit of the Luxembourg marketplace as a whole.
